Welcome to Throbnozzle Racing, We restore and develop vintage engines, and cars, notably Fords Kent engine and the myriad of sports cars in which they where fitted.

We specialize in Ford Kent pre and cross flow engine development, the popularity of these engines appears to be a never ending source of interest and development, from 997cc anglia's and FJ screamers up to 1800cc for road rally and race.

precrossflow engines developed and built by ourselves have been fitted and raced in cars such as Lotus, Ginetta, Lola, Merlyn, Tornado, GSM, Rochdale, Marcos, Merlyn, TVR, and Turner, as well as numerous 1960's Fords and single seater's.More unusually the precrossflow even found its way into speedboats.
