| We have these made specifically for pre and crossflow engines and they can be remapped or set up as you require. We currently offer 4 options, std, fast road, rally and race specification advance curve. These are points distributors, correct for historic motorsport which have heavy duty points rated to 8000RPM for the rally and race distributors The standard and fast road distributors have been reworked from original early type lucus units and retain the vacuum advance unit.
These are ideal far a warmed up 1500 GT engine for example which retains its DCD28/36 carburettor The Rally and race distributors are the later type Lucus units which have a better bearing and stronger internals, these are more suitable for high revving applications.
More details and options such as electronic ignition packs are available on request
We can also offer a complete refurbishment service to 'as new' condition for Ford distributors, these can be prepared as standard or to a fast road advance curve retaining the vacuum advance, or to rally or race spec without.
Please note, if you wish to retain the vacuum advance mechanism you must supply a working unit, this is currently the only unavailable component, all distributors are on an exchange basis due to the availability of bodies £95 exchange
