Welcome to Throbnozzle Racing, We specialise in Ford Kent engine restoration and tuning development, from 997 upwards, catering specifically for historic motor sport.
The performance, reliability and adaptability of these popular little engines appears to be a never ending source of interest and development, we're continually developing our own race engines and passing on the gains and reliability as economically and affordably as is possible.
precrossflow engines developed and built by ourselves have been fitted and raced in cars such as Turner, Lotus, Ginetta, Tornado, GSM, Rochdale, Marcos and TVR, as well as Fords Cortina, Anglia, Corsair.
the Increasingly and ever popular Formula Junior and Historic Formula Ford are also catered for.
More unusually the 1500 precrossflow even found its way into Albatross and Delta speedboats.
We've yet to hear of anyother oddity installations but would love to know if there are any!
